Highlights § Delivered Wal-Mart’s
Colorado Data Center project from start to finish with PoC, Design, Build and
Ops support across 30+ technology teams and a budget of > $50M. § Successfully
delivered Wal-Mart’s US stores SMART box to Linux migration project.
Successfully migrated 3500 programs on the isp box including legacy
applications, regression suites with an ROI of millions per year at the
strategy level. § Led General
Motors’ Global SAP implementations across multiple regions. The program
consisted of design and development of a Global template project and various
Deployment Projects. This called for a highly Integrated Approach in a
distributed, multi-vendor, complex client environment. Developed the
Integrated Project Plan for all teams spanning future releases in highly
collaborative fashion resulting in assured on-time delivery with-in budget. § Program managed the
IT portfolio for PepsiCo’s Supply Chain Management group including
development of budgets, milestones, resource libraries and scorecards.
Developed IT budgets for Business Managers, PepsiCo Business Solutions Group
(IT), Legacy IT and Project 1UP (PepsiCo’s SAP initiative) and managed
various projects that included plant line extensions, warehouse installations
and SAP Deployments. § Led CresSoft’s
PMO setup bringing the organization to a maturity level of 3 within the first

Implementations:
Responsible for GM’s Global Finance and Indirect Materials (GFIMS) SAP
implementation across 6 regions and 16 organizations. Defined, budgets,
Project Scopes and charters. The program was funded for $20 Million.
Developed and owned the Program Plan including identified Risks and
Mitigations, Communications, configuration, data, operations, Quality, tests,
supplier management plans. Results: GM was able to realize ROI as planned
within the stipulated time. § Systems
Engineering:
Delivered projects in various frameworks and technologies including, but not
limited to: client server, C++, Java, J2EE, and IBM Web Sphere for clients
such as e-chemicals. Results: High level of product and service quality
delivered to the client assisted the company in achieving a target of 30%
annual growth through repeat business. § Infrastructure
Deployments:
Led the Disaster Recovery and Work Group Recovery projects including a Data
Center and ITC3 buildouts. Managed a Core team of experts in Networks,
Network Services, Server, Storage, Security, Voice, Mainframe and Enterprise
Monitoring to Architect, Design, Build and Deploy Colorado Data Center for
Walmart US. This Data Center is built with DR as well as growth goals. Results: The CDC project was delivered ahead of time
and under budget. Received the “Outstanding Delivery Achievement” and
“Project of the Year” awards. Managed a budget of $50+ million and a
core team of 80+ resources throughout the project. § Portfolio
Management:
Managed the IT portfolio of DTE’s Credit and Collection dept. Developed
the Integrated Application Portfolio plans, including projects, milestones,
dependencies and risks. Developed comprehensive Risk attributes for the
Credit customers and integrated with the existing Credit and Collection
system, including customer risk profiles and credit bureau reporting.
Designed metrics and dashboards for managers as well as top executives
reporting out on budget, cost and performance. Results: Financial and performance analysis helped
various business groups to improve their financial targets. Various
business groups could reduce their arrears using the IT prioritization
process. § Process and Quality
Improvement:
As the head of CresSoft’s Quality Excellence Department defined
organizational core processes including setting up world class PMO in the
country for the first time. Also at Haleeb Foods Ltd. set up the HR Dept.
from scratch to a size of 12 and led the company through successful ISO 9000
certification. Established and managed Quality Councils, Audit panels and
Software Engineering Process Groups. Results: High level of project management maturity
led to better quality products with on-time, on-budget deliveries which
